I’ve been trying to give the kids more attention recently but somehow the lure of my phone has been strong. Until I came across this quote:

“Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.”

It reminded me of my responsibility to my kids and I have now decided to put my phone completely away when I am with the kids and give them my undivided attention.

The problem comes when they ask me something I don’t know and I don’t have my friend google to help me out. I suppose I had better start reading more. Practice what I preach!
